Christmas Toys!

This week foster and kinship families from across the South Plains came to pick out Christmas toys – 180 kids recieved new toys thanks to the Texas State Guard – Young Heroes of the Guard and generosity our community!

Families also went home with fresh flower bouquets thanks to United Supermarkets. It made our hearts smile when a foster mom picked up a bouquet for her kiddos to take to their biological mom this afternoon during their visit with her.

Thank You

Thank you Crestview Elementary – Frenship ISD kindergarteners for collecting blankets, toothbrushes and toothpaste for Caleb’s Closet to give to foster children across the South Plains.

Mrs. Sonya Wilson, Mrs. Ann Lent, Mrs. Stephanie Brown and Ms. Taylor Damron’s students collected items to donate and graphed them during their math lessons. This is the 3rd year they have collected much needed items for Caleb’s Closet and we’re so appreciative of their continued support.

Adoption Day

Please help us congratulate the Pepper-Yowell family: Happy Gotcha Day Zaya!

After 800 days in foster care, Miss Zaya officially became a member of the Pepper-Yowell family last Friday. Her Mom, Dad, and older sisters are so excited to start this new chapter with Zaya. She loves to color, bake, and is always on the move. All 3 girls are 13 months, 3 weeks apart (oldest to youngest) 😳

Thank You Wittman Vision

Thank you Wittman Vision for this amazing Giving Tuesday WTX donation! This is the second time this year Wittman Vision and their employees have blessed Caleb’s Closet. We cannot say enough about how much their generosity has impacted the foster community over the past two years. We are grateful for their continued support. If you need a compassionate ophthalmologist with a caring staff, visit Wittman Vision!

Christmas Pajamas!

A pandemic couldn’t keep us from hosting our 2nd annual Christmas Pajama Giveaway and it truly took a village to put this event together!

Volunteers from Frenship ISD HOSA and the Casey and Lacy Jones family from Wild West Vintage Decor helped us pack up over 225 pajamas into gift bags for our foster families during the week.

On Saturday Kasi Sierra and Sterling Clark from Remedy Wellness Spa (along with their amazing families) setup the perfect background for our special guest – Lubbock Santa!

We had a great time seeing our foster families and their joy when meeting Santa. Thanks to Broadway Church of Christ we were allowed to host this event outdoors and keep our families and volunteers safe. This event would not have been possible without the generosity of our community, supporters and volunteers.
