Thank You Volunteers

We’re so thankful to have had three amazing volunteer groups help us this past week!

Students from Bean Elementary School in Lubbock ISD assembled shelving units in new space gifted to us by Broadway Church of Christ. This space allows us to keep more inventory on hand and fill orders quickly. We were blown away by the teamwork this group demonstrated – these kids are going places!

A group of community members helped us collect donated items from the Just Between Friends of Lubbock consignment sale. We’re honored to once again be the beneficiary of this donation and are so grateful to the consignors who donated their unsold items. This event is our biggest volunteer event and we’re always amazed at how willing the community is to come together to help us.

On Monday, members of the youth group from Broadway Church of Christ used their Spring Break to help us organize and sort donations. This church has been such a huge support for Caleb’s Closet and we really cannot thank them enough.

Volunteer Opportunity

Caleb’s Closet is excited to be the nonprofit beneficiary for the Just Between Friends consignment sale again in March!

We need volunteers to help take clothes off hangers and put them into bags by gender and size on Sunday, March 14th. Sign up today to volunteer at https://signup.com/go/nxYnvcn….

More information below 👇🏼
We’ll meet at the Just Between Friends location at 3225 50th Street, Lubbock, TX 79413 at 2:50pm. Volunteers are asked to stay as long as they can help, but are not required to be there until 6:00pm (we often finish early.)
We ask that volunteers be at least 12 years old and everyone must comply with facial covering requirements.

Thank You Atmos Energy

Caleb’s Closet is honored to be the recipient of a generous grant from Atmos Energy that will allow us to continue providing essential items to children in foster care across the South Plains.

We are very thankful for Atmos employee Elizabeth Reeder for nominating us for this grant that is part of Atmos’ long standing Fueling Safe and Thriving Communities program that focuses on children, community heroes and our area’s most vulnerable neighbors.

Please help us thank Atmos Energy for supporting Caleb’s Closet and helping to improve the lives of people across the South Plains!
