This past weekend we had volunteers from multiple groups help us sort baby clothing. The Texas Tech American Medical Women’s Association, Raiders Helping Others, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Texas Tech Ambassadors for The College of Arts and Sciences as well as several community members joined us to sort 72 bags of baby clothing! Our baby inventory was critically low so this was a huge help to us.

You can view our future sorting events at the Volunteer Center of Lubbock. If you have a group that would like to join us, please contact us at calebsclosetlbk@gmail.com.

Our Winter Foster Free Family Garage sale is over and we wanted to give a big shoutout to the YWCA of Lubbock for hosting us! We were able to support 72 foster families and their 225 children. We were also able to serve 136 YWCA Head Start students this year. Toys, winter clothing, shoes, and household items were just a few of the items we gave away this year.

We are able to do this because of the generosity of all of you! The items given away during this event are from the donations collected at Aldersgate Church. We are able to store these items thanks to space provided by Affordable Storage of Lubbock.

Thank you to all of our gracious donors. You help us support the foster children and families in our Lubbock community. It’s a big job and we couldn’t do it without you!
