About Us
Caleb’s Closet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves as a foster care clothing closet for Lubbock, Texas, and the surrounding communities.

About Us
Our Mission
At Caleb’s Closet, we love and support those coming into care, as well as those providing foster care. We provide children in foster care with free clothing, toys, personal care products, baby items, and other essential needs.
When children enter foster care, they often arrive at their new homes with only the clothing on their backs. We provide these children with a new duffel bag or suitcase filled with clothing, basic essentials and other comfort items, thereby sending these children a message that they are valued and cared for by our community.

How You Can Help
Donate Gently Used Clothing
We accept new and gently used clothing for children from newborn to 18 years of age. Our Donation shed is located at Aldersgate Church at 10306 Indiana Ave and is available 24/7.
Become a Volunteer
You can get involved today by becoming a Volunteer. Visit our Volunteer page for current opportunities.
Purchase from our Amazon Registry
Each child we serve gets a new duffel bag, new pajamas, new socks and new underwear. As our inventory changes, our most needed sizes are added to our Amazon registry. Purchase from the registry and have them sent directly to us.

Our Why
Taylor
Meet Taylor, one of the many children who are the inspiration behind Caleb’s Closet. Taylor came into care at just three years old. Taylor had a trash bag of belongings, consisting of a few outfits sizes 6-7. Taylor wore a size 3. The only clothes he had that fit him were the dirty, tattered shirt and pants he was wearing.
Taylor’s situation represents most children who come into foster care. Many children come from emergency situations and there is no time to pack their belongings.
Every foster family that we have come into contact with have stories similar to Taylor’s. Our mission is to provide these children with clothing, toys, personal care products, and other basic essentials. We do this by accepting donations of new and gently-used clothing and other items from our community.
Your help blesses these amazing children who, through no fault of their own, find themselves in a desperate situation.
